Summertime

It’s the time of the year

When the azure sky comes clear

When clouds seem has faded away

And we felt the temperature of a humid day

It’s summertime once more

When people rush to the shores, or

Drench in the cool water pools

Catching the sun’s stream of particles

It is also the Season of Lent

When people pray and repent

Commemorating the sacrifice of Christ

To save us, HE gave up HIS life  

It is also the time for children

To engage in some undertakings

To develop their talents and skills

For tomorrow, it’s their weapons and shields

Summertime, summertime

A time for laughter and wine

A time for bonding and vacation

But forget not, ‘tis also the time for self-reflection
