Words

The words we speak
Are the words we learn
From yesterday
Or when our life begins
A word so easy
Or a complex term

At home
We start to crawl
Then our first step
And the first word we speak
It makes our parents glad
We laugh and they laugh
And the first word we repeat

I was in a train
When I read a poem
A parent teaching a child
The words in life
Some are easy
And some are tough

The words we heard
Are the words we use
And even sing
From childhood
Until our knees weaken
Words that make us grow
Or can bring us down
When we forget to use it right
For success gobbles our wisdom

When Do I Close My Eyes?

When do I close my eyes?
Is it when I see someone
running on the streets
taking advantage of others?

When do I close my eyes?
Is it when I see families
fighting with each other
over a non-sense matter?

Do I need to close my eyes
whenever I see a public servant
unscrupulously performing
his duty to benefit himself?

When do I close my eyes?
Is it when I see someone
begging in the street who
chooses not to flex his muscles?

When parents abuse their children.
When I see people pretending.
When I see the richer enriching
themselves at the expense of the poorer.

When everything appears to be falling apart.
Do I need to close my eyes or

just pretend that I do not see
the depressing occurrence around me?

Happy Life

Music to the ears, the sweet words to hear
Saying “I wanna grow old with you”
How to fulfill, could it be true
So easy to speak, yet, not easy to do
A thorny road, a windy path
A narrow-mind, a jealous heart
Petty quarrels sometimes the start
Words are easy but deeds are faint
Not as easy as the dream you paint
When the mouth speaks, actions should present
Love is the key and not some luck
But others say you must have pluck
For love vanishes once hardships struck
It’s not her or him to adjust with you
But the other way around and should be you
It’s not a hoax but a factual view
For if both of you have the same thought
And the complex life you have fought
Not only one will benefit but both
Happy life commence not with I love you
Neither completes with I love you too
Giving and giving in is the right way to do
