Happiness and Deeds

The measurement of one’s happiness,
varies in different ways and type,
for it depends on how a person,
appreciates of what he has in life.

Some people feel contentment,
of the simple things they have,
while others aspire for more,
and seek for more riches to grab.

There are some, who really feel glad,
to see their fellow being downed,
for the agonies and the cries,
for them, it’s a sweet soothing sound.

They are the ones, who like to spit,
and kick those who crawl in hardship,
much more they devilishly pray,
that their fellow would always slip,

It gives them sheer enjoyment,
to know that their neighbors starve,
for they felt they’re more powerful,
with luscious food and precious garb.

There are some with shallow deeds,
and pretend to lend some aid,
but in the end it will be found,
that they’re counting the help they made.

How we measure our happiness,
depends on our own convictions,
but bear in mind and forget not,
God is watching all our actions.

Chasing the Time

I’m on the run, chasing the time
To hold close and turn it around
I came from a place called nowhere
And there’s no one who knew me there

The time that I’m running after
Seems so far that I barely see
Maybe the chance for me is dim
But I’m looking for hope to beam

They say that it’s too late for me
But I care not to their judgment
For they are all just mere critics
Who would strike with their non-sense speaks

I will run, run and chase the time
To wherever it goes and stays
And when I have it in my hand
Then I’ll return to nowhere land

I will return and tell them all
Of the story and what I did
And those in doubts I will persuade
That chasing time should not be feared

Sunrise, Sunset

Here comes the sun, shining so bright,
smiling after the storm had passed,
a sign of hope for those who fall.
Rise up! That’s what it tells us all.

But there are times that people fear,
seeing the sun kissing the sea,
for it’s a sign of rending time,
and a journey to unknown clime.

As the glaring sun hides from day,
and night time comes to greet us all.
To some it’s a sign of sorrow,
unsure of what comes tomorrow.

The light from the East gives us hope,
and in the West the colors fade.
Whatever may the signs are meant,
it’s nothing but a simple myth.

There are times that we may be on top,
and think that life is always up,
but forget not that life changes,
the sun won’t shine on us always.

Sunrise, sunset is part of life,
a cycle we all have to pass,
comes to life and shines gradually,
then fade…and comes our dying day.
