Swiftly

You swift into my life,
like a gentle wind
that calmly and slowly
blows my heart.

Consciously I go with the cold breeze,
but unmindful of its direction
and too late when I realized
my heart was already chilled.

You came into my system,
though I was hoping that am
only sleeping, only to comprehend
that you’re no longer a dream.

Rousing a part of me is what you did,
you gently awaken my
hidden emotion, the feeling
that have been trying to hid.

Life maybe is so cruel to both of us,
or maybe life was also kind, and
though I know this is only fleeting,
but still hoping it would last.

Knowing I could not own you totally
but somehow I’m grateful
that you came to me and brought
happiness my lovely lady.

No matter what will happen
today, tomorrow or whenever
I will say it again and again
this feeling knows no ending.

Euphoria is what I felt,
and even when time comes
that you’ll decide to leave
rest assured that I would still be here waiting….?

Fateful Summer

It was one lonely warm summer,
When two hearts meet and swear
That from then on until the end
In their hearts each one will bear.
They blessed that day when they met,
And prayed that forever hearts are meant.
Together they made dreams and promises,
Hoping that someday it won’t end.

Though it’s hard to hold on,
But they both tried to carry on,
With the promises they made,
Though they know someday it’ll fade.

Now those days are gone,
Leaving their dreams undone.
And as the days goes by,
The feeling slowly begins to die.

Gone are the days of happiness,
Gone are the days of togetherness,
Farewell from those sweet memories,
Face now the times of loneliness.

Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow

Today, maybe is the last day of our lives, or...
Maybe the beginning of something new.

But if today is not the beginning or last day of our lives, then...

What would be tomorrow?

If we were not able to ascertain the yesterday, then...
Surely tomorrow will always be uncertain.

They say that our yesterday is...
The tell tale of tomorrow and today.

But what could we say and what could we do, if...
What we see are all uncertainties.
