Driving

Hands on the wheel
Drive up the hill
Step on the gas
Feel the adrenaline rush

Keep eyes on sight
Examine left and right
Sound the horn
Then make a turn

Passing roads and bridges
Feeling the cold breeze
Feels like flying
While other vehicles running

A foot so quick
Stepping on the brake
The yellow light flashing
The red light is coming

A glance at the rear
Vehicle comes near
Overtaking on the left
Careful not to flip

Slow or fast motion
Will arrive in a destination
There's no sense to hurry
If you'll end up to bury

Moving On

There are times that may seem to be gloomy
And appears to hide the sunny day
There are also times that seems to be stormy
And warns of the danger that is on the way

The gloomy days that we endure
Brings lesson to the human nature
And when the sun appears from the horizon
It gives us courage to keep moving on

Gloomy or sunny day is part of life’s stages
For it teaches us to be strong always
To surmount the obstacles we meet
And rise again from every defeat

The River

The water flowing, so pure and clean,
It glistens, like shining stars in heaven.
In the morning you see its calmness,
But sparkles once touched by sun rays.

The tangy stomp in the water,
Create a splash, breaking its crystal clear,
With the sudden dip of the feet,
The soothing coldness is felt.

There are times when its water is motionless,
But comes the rapid when the tide changes,
Agitating all the creatures beneath,
But worry not for it’s what they wait.

The water running, flowing, hitting the rocks,
So exquisite and a pleasant view from atop,
A nature’s gift that we need to cherish,
Someday, to our children we'll bequeath.

Waiting

Staring blankly on the wall,
waiting for your call.
Excitement was suddenly felt,
when the cellphone vibrate.

In times that nothing is heard from you,
it brings boredom and loneliness too.
In times that no message was received,
feels like the heart wanna grieve.

Perhaps it was already a habit,
for the mind was already set,
frantically hoping that you would remember,
that there’s someone from a far corner.

Though there is no right to demand,
but a single message could have charmed
this lonely spirit from the distance,
who remains to be hopeful of the chance.
